Have you been searching for an online group to step out in courage and be who God has always created you to be? Heidi is a Daring Way™ Certified Facilitator and is offering an online Daring Way Group. This group will be utilizing the Daring Greatly™ workbook to step bravely through shame triggers and false identities.

This is a group that will push you past limits by opening up, being vulnerable and taking risks you maybe wouldn’t take. You get very connected and close to the others in the group, which increases trust and vulnerability. It is preferred that you have done some therapy before joining. It can trigger different emotions and experiences as you step into new things.

If you are interested, please email heidi@heidimortensonlmft.com to inquire.

The Daring Way™ is an empirically based training and certification program for helping professionals, based on the research of Dr. Brené Brown. The work focuses on courage building, shame resilience, and uncovering the power of vulnerability. The methodology is designed for work with individuals, couples, families, and groups. This group can help you to step over hurdles you didn’t think you could step over.

Dr. Brené Brown is a research professor at the University of Houston, where she holds the Huffington Foundation Endowed Chair at the Graduate College of Social Work. She also holds the position of visiting professor in management at the University of Texas at Austin McCombs School of Business. Brené has spent the past two decades studying courage, vulnerability, shame, and empathy. Brené’s books have been translated into more than 30 languages, and her titles include Atlas of the Heart, Dare to Lead, Braving the Wilderness, Rising Strong, Daring Greatly, and The Gifts of Imperfection. Rising Strong™ Group TBD

If you are interested, please email heidi@heidimortensonlmft.com to inquire.

Walking into our stories of hurt can feel dangerous. But the process of regaining our footing in the midst of struggle is where our courage is tested and our values forged. Our stories of struggle can be big or small, but regardless of their magnitude or circumstance, the rising strong process is the same: We reckon with our emotions and get curious about what we’re feeling; we rumble with our stories until we get to a place of truth; and we live this process, every day, until it becomes a practice and creates nothing short of a revolution in our lives. Rising strong after a fall is how we cultivate wholeheartedness. It’s the process that teaches us the most about who we are.
